Special Education/ Developing and IEP in communicating assessment results

Imagine you are an IEP chair and you want to ensure that all educators who participate in team are aware of best practices for IEP team participation and for sharing educational assessment results. Develop a brochure that could be disseminated to educators to assist them in preparing for teamand for communicating assessment results.

Before you begin to design your brochure,

think about the format of the document,
think about the content of the brochure,
think about the visual components that will support the reader in making meaning from the brochure,
think about the essential information you must ensure all participants understand.
Design a brochure, to inform educators of best practices for participating in team and sharing results of assessments with stakeholders. Be sure to include at least 5 key ideas gained via the resources in this module in your brochure.
