Post 1

Discuss the biases or triggers you might experience with your group as the facilitator, either because of the topic or demographic?
2.    What can you do to mitigate these influences to avoid negative effects on the group?
3.    Complete the Developed and Underdeveloped Self scale on pages 78-79 of the text, and write a response that reflects where you scored and where you think you need more self-development to become an effective group leader.

for question 3: talk generally about the strengths and weakness you learned form taking it
EXAMPLE: (DO NOT COPY) I had an opportunity to take a self-assessment on developed and underdeveloped in areas of empathy, creativity, humor, and wisdom.  I consider this assessment to be important when teaching a group.  My results are based on a scale of frequency; always or almost always, frequently, sometimes, seldom, and never or almost never.  This information was helpful to me because it provided results of the areas that needs development and my strengths.  The assessment has shown strengths in areas of empathy, creativity, and humor.  Furthermore, the assessment has shown the need for development in the area of wisdom.  As I continue to structure my stress management group, I will be mindful of my strengths and continue to work on areas that need improvement to help with future groups.
