For this assignment, you have to identify a problem related to one of the topics we discussed this semester as well as propose and argue for a solution. You need to give a detailed outline of the problem-solution essay you will write. Your proposal should contain the following elements:

Title of your future problem-solution essay
Description of the problem
Explanation of why the problem is serious
At least one piece of evidence from a published source to support the seriousness of the problem (give the last name of the author and publication year of the source)
Thesis statement of your future problem-solution essay
The solution you propose to solve the problem (given as a phrase of 3-5 words, not a full sentence)
Supporting argument 1 (given as a phrase of 3-5 words, not a full sentence)
At least one piece of evidence from a published source to support the argument (give the last name of the author and publication year of the source)
Supporting argument 2 (given as a phrase of 3-5 words, not a full sentence)
At least one piece of evidence from a published source to support the argument (give the last name of the author and publication year of the source)
Additional arguments supporting the solution (optional)
Possible objection to the solution (given as a phrase of 3-5 words, not a full sentence)
Response to the objection or alternative solution (given as a phrase of 3-5 words, not a full sentence)
At least one piece of evidence from a published source to support the response to the objection (give the last name of the author and publication year of the source)
A references page in APA with all the sources used. You will have to use at least 3 different sources for your essay other than the ones discussed in class.
