Please read the WORD document before reading the 3 texts to summarize.

Read the 3 texts and write 3 short paragrahps (one each) answering the following questions:
Part 1: Kumaravadivelu’s Chapter 8
Write a short paragraph answering the following questions thoroughly:
    Do you agree with Kumaravadivelu’s ideas that the notion of method is no longer useful to teachers? Why? Why not? Explain by referring to the reading.
    Explain all post-method parameters using common words (not essay style).
    What did you learn about the pedagogic parameters of the post-method teacher and the post-method student?

Part 2: Freire’s Chapters 2 & 3
Write a short paragraph answering the following questions thoroughly:
    Explain the banking concept of education and illustrate with an example from someones learning experience.
    Why is dialogic teaching important? How can you prepare yourself best to be a dialogic teacher? What do you expect from your Teacher or Teachers (ToT) in terms of implementing a dialogic approach to teaching?
    What is problem posing education?
    What is praxis and how can this concept help you learn?

Part 3: Woodward’s Chapter 4
Write a short answering the following questions thoroughly:
    Can you provide examples from someones language learning experience of each of the kinds of learning explained by Woodward in Chapter 4?
    What ideas/concepts/principles have impressed you the most from this chapter?
    Focus on the Commonly Found Instructional Sequences. Describe each of them in light of Freire’s concepts of praxis, banking education and problem posing.
