Aspect of Hispanic Dialectology

For the second mid-term project, students will compose an annotated bibliography on a specific aspect of Hispanic dialectology (A “specific” aspect is not “el espaol de Cuba”, but rather “neutralizacin de lquidas en el espaol de La Habana”)

For SPAN 4060:

The bibliography must have a minimum of eight (8) sources, with at least six (6) coming from outside of course readings. Each original annotation should be approximately 100-150 words in length and should follow the APA Style sheet. All annotations should be in Spanish. At the beginning of the bibliography, students should include a 100- to 200-word abstract identifying the topic and focus of the study.
Each bibliography should contain the following:

A title that reflects the topic of study
An abstract of 100-200 words explaining the thrust of the study (this abstract is in addition to the annotations, and should not duplicate the information found therein).
Each original annotation should be approximately 100-150 words in length, summarizing the main points of the text and explaining how the source is relevant to your paper. All annotations should be in Spanish.
The bibliography must follow the APA style sheet.
