In this weeks scenario I do agree with HR that since there has been a 20% increase in accidents that there needs to be a safety analysis done. There are key steps in performing a proper safety analysis. First we would need to look at which area specifically have had the increase in accidents. Next we need to break each area into specific task. Meaning the job/area we need to analyze and determine the specific operations to perform that job. This step may be a bit tedious but according to research this is critical for properly analyzing the overall risk associated with the job. The third step is to determine the hazards and risk in each of the previously discussed task. The fourth step is to identify preventative controls and residual risk. This step means to identify controls you take to prevent these hazards from causing potential accidents. There are benefits to performing a job safety analysis some are help your company to meet safety standards. It can help improve communication, and aid in training.

For training to be successful they need to understand the why, what ,how and the who questions. Through the examinations they are additionally capable identify different perils that had not be previously detected. The investigations process likewise makes mindfulness among the laborers consequently the acknowledgment of the protected strategy at work is improved. For example of accidents like consumes, it would be important for the association to initially dissect why ,what and how the instances of consumes are increasing. They ought to likewise identify whether it is the equipment or the manner in which the staff are handling the equipment. With this information they can give compelling and satisfactory training that would guarantee that the number stops or reduces. During the investigations process the association is ready to identify the arrangement of events, potential accidents and furthermore concoct precaution measures.

for example through breaking down parking of vehicles one can identify that the vehicle may roll and take a preventive measure like parking in level ground.
